From Scratch was founded in 2023, not by career consultants, but by working business owners who'd lived the exact problem the company now exists to solve. We'd built companies. We'd hired and rehired. We'd watched talented entrepreneurs pour everything into ideas that never had the operational backbone to hold them up. And we kept seeing the same pattern over and over again.

Most small businesses weren't failing because the founders weren't smart enough. They weren't failing because the product was wrong, or the market was off, or the hustle was missing. They were failing or stalling or burning out their founders because no one had ever helped them build the infrastructure underneath.

So we started From Scratch to be the firm we wished had existed when we started. A company that doesn't just hand entrepreneurs another business plan template and disappear. We chose the name deliberately. From Scratch — because that's how most of our clients started, and that's how we approach the work. Not from a template. Not from a script. From the ground up, built around the specific business in front of us.
